Hood County Warrant Records Hood County Warrant Records

Call the office that holds the record. Hood County warrant questions may belong with the sheriff, a justice court, the County Clerk, the District Clerk, or a city's municipal court. The sheriff serves warrants but does not publish a separate warrant phone number. Use the court that issued the case for its status, and contact the sheriff for service or jail questions. A city citation should go to its municipal court, while county and district case files belong with their respective clerks. A public-record request does not ask an office to create a search or change a warrant. Official status and recall questions must go to the court or agency responsible for the case.

This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall or clear a warrant, post bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the sheriff's warrant unit or the issuing court directly.

Route a Hood County question to the office with authority over that record:

  • Warrant service or general sheriff information: Hood County Sheriff's Office, 817-579-3316. The county does not list a separate public warrant line; ask the operator to route the call.
  • Non-emergency law-enforcement contact: call 817-579-3307. Use 911 for an emergency.
  • Jail custody or booking question: call the jail at 817-579-3333. The jail is at 400 Deputy Larry Miller Drive, Granbury, TX 76048.
  • A missed court date or municipal citation: contact the court shown on the notice. JP courts, county courts, district court, and municipal courts keep separate records.
  • Resolving or clearing a warrant: ask the issuing court about the required action and consult a licensed Texas attorney for legal advice.

For a written public-information request to the sheriff, email pialaw@hoodcounty.texas.gov, mail or deliver it to 400 Deputy Larry Miller Drive, Granbury, TX 76048, or fax it to 817-573-7372. The sheriff's office does not provide other agencies' records. No response deadline or fee schedule was stated in the available county instructions.

For a city citation, contact that city's municipal court. Granbury has an online citation portal; Tolar and Lipan list court contact routes. A city portal or clerk cannot confirm a separate county case.
