Hood County Warrant Records Hood County Warrant Records

Start with the issuing court. Hood County warrant records are split between the courts that issue them and the sheriff that serves them. City citations, justice-court cases, county matters, and district files follow separate routes, so a result from one office does not settle the others. Ask the court for case status and the sheriff for service or custody questions. Public-record requests go to the clerk or agency that keeps the requested file. Official answers come from the office that holds the record.

Why We Built This Site

Hood County does not have one verified public portal that searches every court's warrant records. The sheriff serves warrants and keeps jail information, but the courts retain their own case records. The District Clerk maintains district felony, family, juvenile, and district civil files; the County Clerk maintains County Court and County Court at Law matters; and each of the four justice courts keeps its own lower-court and traffic cases. City municipal courts hold their local Class C, traffic, and ordinance matters. Choosing the office that issued the case is the useful first step.

What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. It is not connected to a Texas court, sheriff's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what it can do:

  • We cannot run an official warrant check or confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
  • We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
  • We cannot post bond or accept any kind of payment toward a warrant
  • We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a warrant walk-through
  • We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific warrant applies to you
  • We cannot guarantee that every phone number, fee, or warrant listing is current

Only the court that issued a warrant or the agency responsible for it can confirm whether it exists or has been recalled. Hood County does not list a separate public warrant phone; use the sheriff's public contact number or the issuing court and ask to be routed to the right staff member.

Search Partners

Some pages on this site include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep this site free for visitors. We do not control what those tools charge or what shows up in their results, and their data is not an official warrant check.
